Grants and Funding
We welcome applications from community groups and organisations working to strengthen Toodyay.
Who Can Apply?
Not-for-profit organisations, incorporated groups, or community initiatives with an auspicing partner aligned with our focus areas
What We Fund?
Projects that:
- Protect the natural environment
- Reduce social isolation, strengthening connection and build belonging
- Support children and youth
Given that the Fund focuses on long-term community capacity building, applications that propose projects that are sustainable, fill unmet needs and are preventative in nature are encouraged. The Fund is open to innovative pilot projects requiring seed funding, social enterprise start-up support and potentially multi-year funding. Where possible the Fund may assist with identifying matched funding opportunities.
What We Don’t Fund
- Activities outside Toodyay
- Political or religious campaigning
- Ongoing operational costs without project outcomes
- Duplicate services without demonstrated need
- Funding requests that are already well served through other sources
When We Fund
The Toodyay Community Fund will be announcing Grant Rounds in the future. Keep an eye on this website and social media for announcements.
Assessment Criteria
Applications are assessed based on:
- Community benefit
- Alignment with focus areas
- Feasibility and sustainability
- Clear outcomes
