What is the Toodyay Community Fund?

The Toodyay Community Fund is a local philanthropic fund supporting projects that strengthen community wellbeing, help young people thrive, and protect the natural environment. It pools local generosity to make long-term, community-led impact.

How are decisions about grants made?

A local volunteer committee assesses funding proposals, guided by our vision, mission and values. Committee members bring local insight to ensure funds are directed toward the greatest community needs.

Who can apply for a grant?

Community groups, not-for-profit organisations, or collaborative local initiatives that align with the Fund’s focus areas. Specific eligibility criteria and application rounds are listed on the Grants page.

Can individuals apply?

Individuals may participate through auspice by an incorporated organisation or community group. If you need support with auspicing, please contact us.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes — the Fund operates under the auspices of the Fremantle Foundation, which is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Donations over $2 may be tax-deductible (subject to current ATO rules).

How do I donate?

Who runs the Fund?

The Fund is managed locally by a volunteer committee and is supported administratively by the Fremantle Foundation. We are not affiliated with other local organisations unless specifically noted.
